Niels Blom is a Managing Director in Accordion’s Transformation practice, specializing in leading large and complex programs across Strategy, Operations, and Finance Consulting. With nearly a decade of experience, Niels drives value creation for clients—from Medium-Sized Enterprises to Multinational Corporations—by setting clear strategic objectives and rigorously defining measurable key results.
Niels leads the design and implementation of robust frameworks that ensure initiatives are properly cascaded across organizations, thus fostering accountability and sustainable progress. His disciplined way of working ensures meticulous tracking and reviewing program milestones, enabling leadership teams and CFOs to stay closely aligned with financial goals and transformation priorities.
At Accordion, Niels has managed multi-disciplinary teams through significant transformation initiatives, partnering with clients to restructure organizations, streamline processes, and deploy innovative technology solutions. He serves as a trusted advisor to CFOs and executive teams, championing disciplined program management and value realization through transparency, accountability, and continuous performance review.
Prior to joining Accordion, Niels spent about 9 years as a Consultant at PWC Advisory in Amsterdam and New York. He has worked in a variety of sectors including Services, Industrial Products, Consumer Markets, Technology, Media and Telecommunications.
Niels earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Master’s degree in Finance (with honors), from VU University Amsterdam.
