Matt is a Senior Consultant with 4+ years experience implementing and managing Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions for Private Equity firms and Fortune 500 corporations.
Matt is an accomplished finance professional with 15 years of experience and a unique blend of financial & accounting experience, systems acumen and thought leadership. He has a diverse background, including extensive month-end close management, SEC and management reporting and staff leadership. His other strengths include Oracle EPM, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), WDesk, Visual Basic, Advanced Excel Functionality.
Prior to joining Accordion, Matt Led key accounting and reporting functions at several companies before moving into the Financial Planning & Analysis area. While implementing Oracle EPM as a client, Matt played a key leadership role from the– this specific experience being a large reason behind his joining the Accordion team. Matt’s diverse experience includes global companies with more 30+ legal entities and currencies in both public and private equity backed companies.
Matt graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2005, with majors in Accounting and Finance. Matt passed the CPA exam in 2012.
Matt has Oracle EPM Explorer Badges in Financial Consolidation & Close and Narrative Reporting.
