Lindsay Gordon

Lindsay is a Director with nearly two decades of experience in professional services. After almost 15 years in consulting, Lindsay pivoted her career to focus on the development of individuals and teams to foster their professional growth and success.

Since shifting her focus to talent development, Lindsay has led the strategic design and implementation of complex learning and development initiatives. Lindsay’s experience includes strategic curriculum development, development of new and innovative learning modalities, and implementation of initiatives to ensure staffing for development. Other experience includes the implementation of quality and risk mitigation practices to ensure learning and development programs are inclusive and produced with quality design to optimize the learner’s experience, and process improvement practices to ensure efficient program implementation and operation. Lindsay also comes to Accordion with extensive facilitation experience including technical courses (topics in valuation), leadership development and various topics related to professional development.

The first 14 years of Lindsay’s career focused on serving a variety of clients in the commercial real estate space from regional developers to global financial institutions. Lindsay’s primary focus was valuation and advisory for hotel assets, but she also gained significant experience across other commercial real estate asset types including office, retail, and commercial land.

Throughout her time in the valuation and advisory space, Lindsay worked in both the United States and Brazil, and had the opportunity to work across borders with global clients and teams. During her time in Brazil, Lindsay launched the first hospitality & gaming speciaity practice for Cushman & Wakefield in Latin America.

Lindsay started her career in hotel operations at the Fairmont Royal York in her hometown of Toronto, Canada, before moving to the U.S. and beginning her consulting career.

Lindsay comes to Accordion with a Master’s in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, a Master’s in Management of Hospitality from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Development Studies from Dalhousie University in her home country of Canada.
