Gui Wu

Gui is a Vice President with over nine years of experience in medical underwriting, Benefits program management, and leveraging benefits to improve employee experience.  

Before joining Accordion, Gui worked in various positions within the benefits space, most recently as a leader in the total reward role to lead the medical renewal negotiation, employee wellbeing, and compensation projects. He has also worked with CFOs and Human Resource leadership teams as their trusted broker partner to deliver data-informed decision-making that creates health and welfare program efficiency.

Gui started his career as a medical underwriter at Cigna, where he performed financial assessment and risk modeling for employers. He has leveraged these skills throughout his career to achieve significant success in renewal negotiation, contract review, and plan design effectiveness.

Gui Graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Finance and had earned the Group Benefits Associate designation from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
