You turn to Accordion.
We dive in and review your existing reporting and data availability, subsequently establishing and proposing a BI roadmap as well as process recommendations. We accomplish this by:
- Conducting KPI workshops with executive and business leaders to review key metrics currently being tracked and reported, while collecting feedback on existing reporting gaps and wish lists.
- Developing a driver-tree based dashboard framework, documenting a list of 100+ output, operational and initiative KPIs across various dimensions (time period, divisions / markets, customer segments, etc.).
- Developing an interim Excel-based KPI dashboard solution incorporating feedback from workshops to guide the existing Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process. This allows the dashboards to be produced on a monthly cadence for interim insights until full automation in Power BI is tested and established.
- Identifying dashboards, related framework, and reporting requirements for future automation via BI dashboards, in line with the existing BI/Data team roadmap for data warehouse setup and dashboard migrations.
- Summarizing findings and recommendations in a comprehensive readout document including highlights from workshops and existing reporting processes, which serve as the foundation of the proposed dashboard migration roadmap and are supported by thought leadership on alignment and prioritization according to client’s current BI team roadmap.
Your value is enhanced.
In the short term, the QBR process is largely automated and streamlined for your BI team, with additional capabilities to reproduce the dashboard monthly where needed; the Excel-based dashboard production process also serves as Proof of Concept for the BI team’s future implementation of the QBR into Power BI.
Beyond the QBR, the exercise naturally transitions into a Phase II workstream, kickstarting and implementing Accordion’s proposed roadmap to design and build out a Power BI-based reporting suite for the Sales function. There is a well-defined work plan and alignment between involved stakeholders, allowing for a systematic approach to setting up the dashboards the leadership team requires to acquire insights and make informed business decisions.
