Sanjeev Parlikar

Sanjeev is a Managing Director and Head of Accordion’s Strategic Finance Practice with nearly two decades of experience in M&A, corporate, and operational finance. He focuses on the growth and development of our Strategic Finance Practice, managing client relationships, leading projects – and always on driving value creation for our clients. Sanjeev has also led numerous complex M&A and financing transactions for global corporations and private equity firms.

With Accordion, his engagements span a variety of sectors, including Consumer, Software, Industrials, Business Services, and Telecom. Sanjeev has led engagements for portfolio companies of The Carlyle Group, Cinven, Hellman & Friedman, General Atlantic, Centerbridge, Insight Venture Partners, Charlesbank, HGGC, and Snow Phipps.

Prior to joining Accordion, Sanjeev spent more than a decade in Investment Banking, working with corporations and private equity firms focused in the Retail and Consumer space. He was previously an Executive Director at UBS in the Global Consumer Products and Retail Group. There, he led the execution of debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and strategic advisory engagements for a wide range of clients globally.

Sanjeev started his career at Wasserstein Perella & Co. where he gained extensive analytical and transaction experience in M&A, strategic advisory and restructuring.

Sanjeev graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Economics and Engineering Sciences.
